APTET 2018 Notification

AP TET Notification 2018/Eligibility Criteria will be published at http://aptet.cgg.gov.in. AP State Govt will be issuing APDSC 2017 Notification on the 6th July 2018. About 10,351 teacher posts will be recruited through this notification. It is a mandatory that each person who want to become a teacher should pass/qualify the teacher eligibility test conducted by the respective state government or they have to qualify the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test).

As Andhra Pradesh state government will be publishing DSC Notification in this December, it is mandatory for the state government to release APTET 2017 Notification also along with the AP DSC 2017 Notification. There are hundreds of candidates who have already been qualified for the APTET in previous TETs, but still there are few people who have not yet applied for this TET examination and who have not cleared the TET examination. Candidates who are looking forward for this teachers recruitment (AP DSC 2017) are also looking forward for the APTET Notification 2017. Candidates who have not yet appeared for Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test, can apply this time and qualify for the DSC recruitment.

There are two papers in APTET. Paper 1 is designed for the people who want to become primary school teachers for class 1 to class 5 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Paper 2 is for Upper Primary School Teachers who teach Class 6, Class 7 and Class 8 in Government, Municipal, Aided, Private Un Aided schools in AP. The structure and content of each part of Paper I and Paper II of the APTET 2017 examination, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper will be given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates need to download the AP TET 2017 information bulletin from the official website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in before applying online from APTET 2017 official website.

Eligibility

APTET Eligibility: All candidates who possess D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications with requisite percentage of marks obtained and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Andhra Pradesh State can appear for APTET 2017. APTET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines. For more information, referĀ APTET 2017 Notification.

APTET 2018 Notification

Pass Percentage and Weightage

20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government i.e., 20% weightage is for APTET score and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT/AP DSC 2017) for drawing up selection list.
